Directions and Arrival Guide

North Fork 53 is located at 77282 Hwy 53 Nehalem, OR 97131

Turn off of Hwy 53 and onto Bridge Lane (in between mile markers 11 & 12)

Cell reception is spotty in our valley and we don’t recommend using your cell phones for directions or car GPS systems. Use notes below and you will find us!

From the North (Astoria/Seaside):

• Take Hwy 101 south to Hwy 26 junction.

• Take Hwy 26 towards Portland until you come to the Hwy 53 junction (about 9 miles)

• Turn right onto Hwy 53 and follow the (curvy!) road past the fish hatchery and on until you reach Bridge lane on your right hand side. (just after mile marker 11). There will be our red sign at turn.

• Turn down Bridge lane and park on the far side of the big red barn. (follow the sign to parking)

• Walk down from the parking lot to the house by the river with the large garden.

• Please take the path that begins at the barn side of the parking lot and enter through the
  garden rather than using the staff driveway.

• The front door will be open and you can come in!

  From the South (Tillamook):

• Take Hwy 101 past the town of Wheeler and turn right on the Hwy 53 junction towards Portland before you reach the bridge going over Nehalem Bay.

• Follow Hwy 53 for about 12 miles or so until you spot the "Entering Clatsop County" sign. (between mile markers 12 and 11)

• Turn left at Bridge lane and park in our parking lot on the other side of our big red barn.

• Walk down to the house by the river with the large garden. Please take the path that begins on the barn side of the parking lotand enter through the garden instead of using the staff driveway.

• The front door will be open.

  
  From the West (Cannon Beach/Manzanita):

• Take Hwy 101 to the town of Nehalem and turn left at the blinking light at the bottom of the hill.

• Follow 7th street as it runs along the North fork of the Nehalem River (also known as North Fork Rd) for about 7 miles.

• You will finally T into Hwy 53 at a stop sign.

• Turn left towards Portland onto Hwy 53 and follow for about 2 more miles. (between mile markers 12 and 11)

• Turn left at Bridge lane and park in our parking lot on the other side of our big red barn.

• Walk down to the house by the river with the large garden. Please take the path that begins on the barn side of the parking lot and enter through the garden instead of using the staff driveway.

• The front door will be open.
  

  From the East (Portland):

• Take Hwy 26 west until you come out of the mountains. Just after the Saddle Mtn. recreation area you will come to the Hwy 53 junction on your left (there is a gas station there).

• Turn left onto Hwy 53 and follow the (curvy!) road past the fish hatchery and on until you reach Bridge lane on your right hand side. Just past mile marker 11. Our red sign will be at the turn.

• Turn right at Bridge lane and park in our parking lot on the other side of our big red barn.

• Walk down from the parking lot to the house below along the river with the large garden. Please take the path that begins on the barn side of the parking lot and enter through the garden instead of using the staff driveway. (there will be signs to guide you)

• The front door will be open

  P.S. If you see the "Entering Tillamook county" sign you just passed our driveway and need to turn around.
