Shop the Dock- Garibaldi

Love fresh seafood? Learn about what's in season, how it's caught, if it's sustainable, and how to purchase high quality seafood during a guided tour of the Port of Garibaldi with Oregon Sea Grant and partners.

Get to know local commercial fisheries, discover where to find local seafood, and enjoy a behind the scenes tour of Fishpeople Seafood Market. The tour will conclude with a brief culinary demonstration! People interested in purchasing seafood should bring a cooler.

There are two tour times for each date: 10-11:30 am and 1-2:30 pm. Tours run about 90 minutes; please wear comfortable walking shoes and arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. These are rain or shine events, so please dress for the weather.

Located at the Port of Garibaldi. Meet on the street-level docks/walkway next to The Spot at 304 Mooring Basin Drive.

ACCESSIBILITY: This tour involves walking along docks which may be slippery and may move underfoot. During lower tides, the ramp to access the docks can be quite steep. If you have any concerns or need accommodations, please contact Amanda Gladics, amanda.gladics@oregonstate.edu, (503) 325-8573.
